We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday and really enjoyed the experience overall. The atmosphere is very nice, and the staff at the front desk were attentive and friendly from the moment we arrived. Since it was our first time, we weren’t familiar with the portion sizes and initially wanted to order two BBQ sets for the four of us. Luckily, our waitress explained that one BBQ is generous enough for three people and suggested adding a few side dishes instead. Thanks to her advice, we ordered one BBQ 2, mixed vegetables, Korean chicken, rice cakes, and a fish cake dish—and it was more than enough. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. One small point to mention is that, for a similar price, we’ve had Korean BBQ in LA where rice, salad, and side dishes were included in the BBQ price. Here, those come separately. The non-alcoholic drinks, however, were excellent. Next time, we’ll skip the BBQ and try more Korean dishes from the menu. I also found the two-hour time limit a bit restrictive, as Korean BBQ takes time, especially when grilling each type of meat separately. Special thanks to Pinkey, who was extremely kind and helpful and made our experience even better

I alwasy wanted to taste korean food. As I can not go in korea I searche the closest to I can get. Looking at the reviews I had the impresion that here you cand have good food. When we arrived the restautant was full but somehow we were lucky as we got a table for 2 hours. The place looks nice, the chairs a litle bit unconfortable. The waiters were all ok. The food on the other hand disaponting. I had kimchi soup which was so salty that even the red sea is fresh water. Either they droped the monoglutamat salt or they wanted to cover something. All the food was uneatable salty. All the other food we had was like chinese food, nothing special. The portions are quite small and expensive. We payed 350ron for 2 persons. I liked the limonade with the japanesse lemon. If korean food is like this i do not want to eat it anymore

Fantastic Service at Jeonjuu Korean BBQ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Service at Jeonjuu Korean BBQ I had such a great experience at Jeonjuu Korean BBQ. Pinky was absolutely wonderful — she helped us with the food, guided us through everything with so much patience, and was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our meal. She really made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Our first server, Gyan, was just as impressive. He was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond — he even made me my special spicy margarita, even though it wasn’t on the menu. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out. With service like this, I’ll definitely be coming back on my next trip to Old Town, Romania. Highly recommend!

The food is fresh, nicely spiced and tasty. The portions are good size, we went for the BBQ 1, which for two people is more than enough. Drinks are good as well, interesting cocktails, but maybe more options - maybe some simple Korean beer, something more light. The service was also good, the waiters were nice and friendly. I’m giving 4 stars because this trend with “max 2 hours” is really unpleasant and I literally cannot understand it from a client’s point. Sure, 2 groups of 4 in 4 hours are definitely more $ for YOU instead of 1 group of 4 in 3h let’s say… but when that group of 4 already have an invoice of 900 RON in 2h…. I would really not ask them to leave. We appreciate that we were allowed to stay 30 more minutes… but still not enough as it felt rushed. Especially in your location where it takes more to cook your own food, to enjoy it and to have a good time/chat in between.

I recently visited Jeonjuu in Bucharest, and the entire experience was absolutely perfect. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy, authentic atmosphere that immediately set the tone for a wonderful meal. Every dish I tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the traditional Korean recipes were executed with great care and attention to detail. The presentation was excellent, and the portions were just right. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Jeonjuu exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for delicious Korean food in Bucharest and a place where everything from service to ambiance feels just right, this restaurant is definitely a must-visit.
