Really can't fault the place. Recommended by a local taxi driver. Thought we might need to order sides, but for 4 very hungry lads just the platter was more than enough. Staff were excellent and food was very tasty and authentic.

I recently had lunch at La Cocosatu and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant is well known and often recommended, especially for its Romanian-style dishes. I tried the boneless grilled chicken thighs, which were well-seasoned and had a nice smoky taste. However, I was a bit disappointed to find some cartilage in the meat, which affected the texture and overall enjoyment of the dish. It didn’t ruin the lunch, but it did take away from what could have been a flawless experience. Despite this, the visit was still enjoyable. The quality of the food overall was good, and the menu offers a wide selection of hearty options. I would recommend La Cocosatu to anyone curious to try authentic Romanian flavors in a casual setting. With just a little more attention to detail in food preparation, the restaurant could easily deliver an excellent experience every time.

I love this place. The food was great! The service was super friendly and chill. Professional, but warm and welcoming. Lovely place and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good bite to eat. Menu is Anglo-friendly which, as a visitor who doesn’t speak Romanian, was nice. Be kind and say Mulțumesc for their great service!

My opinion is that this location is better than the one in Băneasa. Service was great and the food was very tasty. We tried the Tripe Soup and the famous Mici and we were very satisfied with the overall experience. You should definitely try the Papanasi as well 👍.
