One of the best Chinese restaurants I have came across in Bucharest. Finally got my Chinese food craving fix. Ordered the spicy boiled fish and garlic broccoli. Fish is fresh and the serving is generous. Broccoli just nicely cooked. Everything was delicious and not too oily or too salty. Szechuan dishes seem to be their specialty. Service was friendly n efficient. 💯 definitely coming back for more

Extremely disappointing experience. Stay away from them if you care for your health! I ordered the Gambian beef from Old Shanghai and it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. The food arrived very late, and when I finally got it, the beef was overly salty, dry, and tasted reheated, definitely not fresh. I suspect it's not cooked today. The texture was tough, the vegetables were soggy, and the entire dish felt like it had been sitting around for far too long before being sent out. For the price they charge, this level of quality is unacceptable. I expected a freshly cooked meal, not something that tastes like leftovers. Definitely not ordering from here again, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about food quality THEIR HEALTH or timely delivery.

We enjoyed their sister restaurant in Brasov so much we decided to try the Bucharest version! This did not disappoint as well, but overall we thought the Brasov location had better tasting food. Cumin lamb was fine but it could have had stronger cumin flavoring. Sauteed cauliflower was delightful -- we devoured the entire panful. We also ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce and vermicelli again -- it was delicious like before but the Brasov location's is better. Service is efficient and they spoke English and Chinese. They also gifted us free shots!

Not impressed with the food or service. 1. the dumplings were not fried enough and were chewier and they brought it after the chicken with pineapple. 2 the chicken is fried in some sort of batter and I wasn't expecting this, it was weird. 3. The service was annoying as our waiter kept insisting with some drink that she likes instead of listening to my order. After the food was brought out they ignored the table and started smoking. Overall it wasn't an enjoyable experience for me and I will not be returning. The place looks nice and it's good for a quick bite with friends. I hope this is just a one time thing and it's not the same for everyone :D.

Almost a 10/10 ~ almost. Dumplings were good and the dessert was exceptional (especially the banana with coconut), the only thing which was below expectations was the Gongbao chicken, maybe I just did not make the best choice on the menu. Will definitely come back to try other things :)
