Dear Sabatini, I'm really appreciate your efforts to contact me and solve the problem. Unfortunately i'm not so good in Romanian but i know that your food is great and hospitality is beyond measure. The food here is genuinely good and the place itself looks very nice for a neighborhood restaurant. I’ve eaten here multiple times, both dinner and breakfast, and I’ve had a couple of good experiences with polite waiters. Once, when our order was messed up, they fixed it quickly and fairly, which I appreciated. That said, there’s a serious and repeated problem with the attitude of some of the staff, and after several incidents I’m done giving this place chances. I once brought my sister and her husband here based on my recommendation. Everything was fine until close to closing time, when we were treated rudely and almost pushed out even though the restaurant was still open. Another time, I came with old friends I hadn’t seen in a long time who were only in town briefly. It was raining, and although we arrived just minutes before opening, we were spoken to in a very disrespectful way and repeatedly told “it’s closed,” including comments asking if we can’t read. It was unnecessary and embarrassing. We left and went somewhere else. Today was the final straw. From the moment we walked in, one of the waiters spoke to us in a bossy, dismissive tone about where we were “allowed” to sit. When we said we only wanted tea or hot chocolate for a short time, the waiter kept questioning us with visible attitude, as if ordering food was mandatory. It felt judgmental and uncomfortable. We are locals, we are polite, and we are paying customers. Whether someone wants food or just a drink should not be an issue, and no one should be made to feel unwelcome for it. Good food alone doesn’t make up for being treated poorly. I really wanted to like this place, but the inconsistent service and rude behavior from some staff completely ruin the experience. I wouldn’t recommend it unless there are no other options nearby.

This place receives 5 stars for its offerrings and prices. They have a vast menu and the food is quite good. It’s a good option when in the neighborhood, for a quick and delicios bite.

“Sabatini Pizza & Restaurant,” Tei area The best of the best from the entire chain! P.S. The “lunch” promotion for 39 lei is wonderful - you won’t regret it! (Weekdays from 12:00 to 17:00) The photos are a bit old, but now all the dishes are even better. Highly recommend dining in, taking away, or ordering delivery. My suggestion - don’t even try to find something better in this area!
