Today we visited Trattoria Mezzaluna for the first time. We wanted to see for ourselves the small restaurant with almost 4000 positive reviews. It managed to exceed any expectation that we had. We LOVED it!! It is the most authentic restaurant we tried in Bucharest. A combination that leads to perfection: small, intimate setting + the most dedicated and friendly staff you can imagine + exquisite Italian cuisine. After a single visit, it became our favorite restaurant. I highly recommend it!

A truly wonderful experience at Trattoria Mezaluna. The food was excellent – fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked pasta, and beautifully balanced flavors. The wine selection paired very well with the dishes. Special thanks to the head waiter and the entire staff for their warm, professional, and attentive service. They made the evening even more enjoyable with their kindness and attention to detail. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back.

Best meal of our entire month- long trip! I can't say enough about the food and the service. I had the pork, which was crunchy on the outside and tender in the middle, and my friend had one of the pizzas, which she said was really tasty. She had the Caprese salad and I had the Halloumi salad. We loved them! Our waiter, even with big groups, was excellent. I wish I was staying another night just to return.

The waiter was very kind and the food tasted amazing. One of the best pasta dish I’ve tried. I ordered the tagliatelle in 2 colours with shrimps, a strawberry lemonade and for desert panna cotta.

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews but I had a quick solo dinner here: good service with the halloumi salad, seafood pasta and a scoop of black cherry gelato. It was all delectable. Especially the salad. The pasta was a bit too Al dente for me but the gelato was lovely, a nice surprise. I didn’t make a reservation but it was full save for the table I occupied.
